Just like Hull KR have established themselves as the No1 team in Hull, Dobson established himself as no1 scrumhalf in Hull, and took the Albert Goldthorpe medal in 2009 for his consitent displays for Rovers. He states in the HDM that he would like to keep this title, if he continues to maintain his performances or even improves this will be no problem, just like the full squad will maintain the no1 team slot in this city.

Both Dobson and rovers had virtually no competition last season, this season will be a very different story!

Bear in mind it was probably a standard sports interview. Something along the lines of: "will you be happy if you outdo Sean Long" "Errr, yes"
