Rugby at the stadium for 52 weeks a year would mean that the rental would surely be lower for both clubs.

It would also mean a rubbish playing surface.

So Salford and John Wilkinson spend a huge amount of time and money over 10 years trying to make this all work and when it's done we invite our main competitor to come and lap up the cream?

Sod those parasites. Get MU reserves in. We'll get all the economic benefit we need from that, the pitch will stay in good condition and we won't end up playing in the Jason Robinson Stadium.

No we don't - the ground was sold nearly two years ago in preparation for the move to barton - see numerous threads on here over the last year or so.

There is a one brain cell reply I hinted at in another topic, how are Sale parasites? and i'd rather offer the use of the ground to any sport, any association or commitee than become involved in a sport like football - the pariah of all things decent in my eyes.

Is it really fair on the other teams that you had a pro playing for you?

Good of Ballard to turn out for our team though, but when did he grow a beard??

 Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book

Now as good as it was for Scully to join our trophy winning side, we didn't actually let him play. We felt that there was a danger that he'd pop a shoulder or rupture a knee ligament if he played. Nice of him to keep the bench warm though...
