Not sure the reasons for banning paying on the day/gate. Seems they want to ban the casual supporter who decides on the day to attend. Quite ridiculous

Just had an email back from LSV regarding a student concessionary rate. The jist of it is, take your student ID to the LSV ticket office and you can get in for £7.00.

You will have the same problem in your new stadium in 2011. I was going to add lots of laughing faces but I figured that would be juvenile. Anyway, alot of the new stadia are like that initially, I am pretty sure Widnes is like that too, no cash turnstyles......but then their turnstyle operators are scousers (see post above)

I would imagine in todays world of H&S/risk assessments/insurance requirements etc, that it's classed as to risky to have employees wondering around with cash, so a nice safe ticket office behind armour plated glass, is all you can have.

As stated you can turn up and pay on the day but you will have to get a ticket from the office first before entering the ground.

Anyway how many do you think we'll beat you by?

Yes, it must be health & safety stopping people carrying cash. That's why you can't use cash to buy programmes, half time draw tickets, drinks, food and place a bet around modern stadiums either. If in doubt, blame it on health & safety.

Anyway when the Tories get in they will get rid of Health and Safety.
