There is a lot of talk about extending the East Stand and developing the North and West stands but if you improve the South Stand (and facilities for away supporters generally) you will attract a lot more away supporters than at present which will help you get to the 10,000 average.
The lack of away supporters and the distance they are from the pitch may make CP more intimidating for opposing teams and may even have contributed to Rovers' excellent home form over the last couple of years but if you can make CP more welcolming for away supporters it will undoubtedly increase attendances and revenue.
It's a good idea but, as I've stated on other threads, you've got a state of the art facility and other than maybe Wigan, does any team from East of the Pennines ever bring a decent crowd?
Most of the rest of SL fans just don't travel like our clubs, especially over to East Yorkshire, they can't be bothered.
Yes, improving our facilities for away fans would add
some onto the attendance, but other than when your team comes I'm not sure it would add enough to make a difference.
