There is a Forever Reds Fans Forum on the 11th December at the Willows
with Steve Kerry, Andy Burgess and Kevin Ashcroft to be in attendance.

Good john wilky last looked out
on the pitch at salford.
when the snow lay round about
deep and crisp and even
brightly played the lads that night
though the frost was cruelllll
when poor swinton scored a try
we had 94urrrrrrrrrr

How would Salford RLFC get increased revenue from Sale Sharks also paying rent to Salford's landlords? I agree that we may be able to learn more on the marketing side, but would we be taking on a huge risk by groundsharing with a team who enjoy a higher profile than us and may well have more success than us - we'd risk looking like the minor partners, and floating fans may decide they prefer to support the team that gets more hype and wins more games.

i dont see any problem with sharing with them! I dont think we'd suffer with losing fans because there more successful. We may gain more like some have said. I know i'd go down an watch a few of there games if we ground shared just to see what the crack is.

Don't know the in's & out's...but your post just hit home...
at the moment we own our own ground.... when we move we will be like Swinton...renting of somebody else.....how long before the rent starts going up & up til we go bust
I would now drop down with the real clubs, than carry on with the so called Super Expansion League..
Willows forever or I'm out........2days after renewing ST's

Toulouse & Gateshead you mean?

You could always start supporting a 'real club' like Leigh ..... who also rent their ground.

 Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book

Widnes and Wigan rent their "grounds" as do Huddersfield and Hull FC, see I am thinking as I go along, oh nearly forgot Celtic who have no ground.
Catalan don't own their ground either

For me it's about getting the stadium built.

Agree longs terms of rental on a par with Sale so we all know where we stand before the thing is built.

Rugby at the stadium for 52 weeks a year would mean that the rental would surely be lower for both clubs.
