Maybe he carried over his apparent lack of enthusiasm when at Rovers to his new post at Hull.
As for coaching jobs with the RFL , to me it appeared that some of them were given to aid an ex-players rehabilitation rather than because of actual expertise in that field.
I like toast as much as anyone , but not for breakfast , dinner and tea.
