I went for my season ticket on wednesday and i found out were having swip cards instead of season book(e.g manchester united season tickets card)

does any one no when we are actually recieving these? have they been made yet??

The club have already started installing the technology so I guess everyone will get them posted out or be able to pick them up from the shop.

seems a little odd to be investing in this sort of technology when the ground is supposedly being replaced in 2 years time

does this mean there wont be any gate staff this year?

using this technology will certainly make it easier to count attendances etc.

rather than pluck a number out of the air

still need gate staff to make sure that it is your card, with your picture on, plus there are a number of members only who will still be paying on the gate or at the ticket office (could be problems there) and also for visiting fans. just means that some gate staff will not be as busy.
