Before red city development went bust! This whole stadium thing was supposed to be financially beneficial to the club after everything was up and running! so im led to believe,But now peel seem to have full control! I think it would be a good idea for peel to buy the club as its only gonna make him more money, and the club Will have a nice sugar daddy! Just a thought anyway, so if anyone has got his number just give him a call and tell him to buy the club! Easy as that really, plus he already gives us 200 grand a year and cant imagine us costing a fortune or am i completely wrong

That was when there was a casino and hotel plus retail units tied into the stadium all owned by red city.
Peel wouldn't be willing to take on an ailing team with a meagre support unless they could expect a huge turnover in profits. Rugby League is not a big buck earner by any means of the imagination.
As I stated ... ask Rochdale "mill pension holders" or "Lancashire Aeroclub" about Peel.
