Some now, some in 12 months, then 24 months etc. If Rovers ceased to exist, as seems likely to a good number of Hull FC fans apparently, Sportingbet would be relieved of their obligation.

Not sure about that, we are always active with our team and when they were uner 12s a wine shop sponsored us, we rang the RFL to check we could advertise on the back of the shirt and they said there was no problem..

I suspect it may be more to do with the club and the family values etc they want to promote, which is good imo.

Seems reasonable if Hugell knows the details of all the other clubs finances & sponsership deals they can't be all that top secret.

Bolton Wanderers, West Ham United, Hull City to name three professional sports teams sponsored by bookies have kids shirts with no sponsors, it was probably a compromise from when people were crying for gambling sites etc to be banned as main shirt sponsors.
