and Clinton has been slated because of his performances at Brisbane. Both would be great signings for our clubs though.
There are also reports in Oz that O'Meley didnt cope well because of the 2 refs and the game been too quick.

I dont think any signing should be judged as past it or not good enough based on performances is Oz, our game is totally different. Dobson couldnt get a game in Oz (3rd choice i believe) and he was the top 7 here last season. I'm happy to wait and see how Fitz and O'Meley perform, i'm also happy to say that Clinton and Vella in Rovers pack will make it look a lot tougher than just Vella at the minute.
to be honest i take australian views on english bound players with a pinch of salt.......all there bitterness is an embarrasment because there players seek pastures new....id be pretty certain from what ive heard from o'meley and fitzgibbon is that they arent here to muck around......
fact is, to play for the kanga's you have to have 1.ability, 2.good attitude,3.be a winner.....and thats just the tip of the iceberg in my opinion...im sure people will make up there opnion on these two before they have even laced there boots, but the proof is in the pud

when mason was playing regular for the rep sides his attitude was first class....no mention of his offf-field antics UNTIL he joined the roosters for silly money...his head grew extremely large after he left the dogs,..... money, fame and living in sydney do not mix im afraid.......
