OK:
1. Youre over stretched yourselves off the pitch to have a couple of good years on the pitch. That's lead to bragging rights in the city but at what cost.
2. Your chairman has admitted you do not have a sustainable business model as is.
3. Your debts are mounting at a phenominal rate. Your chairman has come out and admitted this and said that the club is going to re-focus which may lead to not been as competetive on the pitch.
4. Youre made no star new signings for 2010 and to everyone but some Rovers fans your squad looks weaker. If you think Vella, Netherton, Wheeldon and Lovegrove is a good enough front row to compete then your crazier than i thought.
5. This lack of recruitment is probably set to get worse in 2011 as Hudge tries to re-focus to make you sustainable.
6. For all that youve overspent youve won nothing in SL. The financial issues could count against you when licences are up for renewal.
7. As a result of points 4 and 5 there's a strong chance that your bandwaggoners may desert the club if you have 2 mediocre seasons which will only add to the financial issues.
8. Youve been fined for not submitting your accounts. Wakey and Celtic are the only 2 clubs not to have submitted accounts too this year and they are both in huge financial problems.
9. There's mention of a recent CVA. Not sure if its still outstanding but that too doesnt help.
As you will see ive posted very complimentary through the full thread about the shift in direction by your management team to make you a sustainable business and im sure they will be succesful, does make me chuckle though when you dont think youre in bother and you think you'll still be competetive over the next couple of seasons. Do you really think that or is it bravado?
