Looks like a strong 22 and then it gets somewhat weaker.

Think lots of teams have decided to take that approach for this year, what with cost challenges as well as the need to compete it seems to make sense but does mean if the likes of Leeds and Saints pick up any injuries we could see some of the fringe clubs competing more.

I actually like the look of that squad, supposed to be a few cracking young players coming through.
Not sure if they will finish top of the league this season but I would imagine a top 3 place for them.

Maybe some truth in your idea DaveT, but then again the likes of Leeds and Saints always seem to have the youngsters ready to step up to the fray when injuries strike/ ie look at how many of their youngsters Leeds "loan" out to other clubs whilst still retaining themselves if needed at some stage, and as for Saints, well you only have to look at how Kyle Eastmond stepped up to the plate! No the fringe clubs will still have to step up further again to be in the frame at the season's end. Let's hope that all clubs show improvement whichever league they operate, and we don't lose anymore due to financial reasons............grannyfan Cindy

Nail on the head Cindy, the youngsters have to step up. Its what our game misses sometimes. I'd rather saints bring a kid through like Eastmond than carry two 7's and loan the kid out.
One thing for sure at FC next season is that if we pick up injuries the kids like Jack Briscoe and Reece Lynne will get game time which can only be a good thing for the development of youngsters.

Still a very good squad but i can see them slipping out of the top 2 for the upcoming season as other teams have improved there squad.

Being in the region Saints have some of the most exciting youngsters in the country in that list and they should be appluaded for bringing on top british players. Leeds for top next year followed by Saints, they still have a strong core of players.
