That was very sporting of Di Canio. But IMO it's pretty easy to be sporting when there's nothing riding on the outcome. Everton and West Ham were just involved in more mid-table dullness. It made pretty much no difference to either side that Di Canio did that.
If Henry had let that ball run out of play then France would probably be out of the World Cup. There'll be about 5 French football fans who would have preferred Henry not to have handled that ball. 30 million French football fans will be delighted France are in the World Cup and probably couldn't give a to55 how the goal came.
