Maybe in Ireland
I'll always remember his goal against United, his goal against Madrid and his stunning performance vs. Inter back in '03 (I think). Fabulous player and only the ignorant will remember him for this.

I wasn't alive for that goal, in England, he'll always be remembered for that, but just as many people I know speak about the other goal he scored that game.

I remember Henry ruining his reputation by diving outrageously against Wigan and then going on to score and shoving the ball in the goalkeepers direction in order to gloat. Tremendous player but a complete great dude.

yes but he is more famous for the hand of god goal. the wonderful goal he scored in that game pails into insignificance compared to what else he did.
Hnery will be rmembered for that goal, he always will be.

Maradona is regarded by many as the greatest player to play the game, I know what you mean by the hand of God being a big memory, but he'll always be regarded as one of the best, same with Henry. It's a controversial moment and they're often remembered more than the good times, but I don't think people will forget the greatness of Henry because of this, similarly with Maradona.
