Like Hudge said though, when we 1st got into SL; players could demand a high wage and a long contract as we needed decent players at the club to stay up - hence why Mills has still got another year to run on his contract.
We are now in a position were we can say heres a 2yr contract - take it or leave it. So by the sounds of it when 2010 season finishes so do these long contracts with a higher then normal wage for an average player.
