Neil, you keep saying all Super League Clubs are making losses with the average being £540,000 - how come Leeds, Hull FC and Saints are posting profits. What are they doing differently?
The average is the average - bigger core support, more established commercial base and more success. We are into 4th year so not comparable so 7-8 years behind those 3 clubs
Hi Neil, Are you saying in your post at 7:33 that we have lost virtually £1,000,000 in a two year period. How can this be sustainable for any period of time?
Good observation and I agree with you. The very actions and measures we take are seen as being negative in some quarters yet we won’t run the club on unsound business principles.
With these operating losses hanging at around the half a million pounds a year how do you foresee them being reduced in this the severest of recessions and as the club now stands £900,000 in debt where do you see this money coming from to clear the said debts?
I think I have answered that - improved income, cost control and improve facilities.
