couldnt agree more Cotto was devastated granted he was never going to win but hes sisnt deserve too get so far and then have astupid stoppage like that
Well fair play to Pacquiao he was awesome and is a top 20 ATG atleast now. And if he beats Mayweather he could become the best figher of all time. I hope Floyd wins though.

They say styles make fights....Well, I'm not too sure that Pacquiao v Mayweather would make for a classic.
One thing can be sure, and that is Floyd Mayweather wouldn't go walking onto punches like DeLaHoya, Hatton & Cotto all have in Pacquiao's last 3 fights....Mayweather hardly ever gets tagged and there is little to suggest that Pacquiao would change that.
Last night was a damn effective display from the Pac-man, but if truth be told then Cotto's defence was absolutely abysmal, head movement was nil and he was walking forward in straight lines, which was perfect for Pacquiao.
I'm not saying that Pacquiao has no chance...With Roach in his corner, then anything is possible....But the formline with Marquez suggests that Mayweather would be too slick and strong for Manny.

Whilst I admire Mayweather's skills, I just can't cheer for him. The reason I watch his fights is in the hope that someone knocks him out or at least knocks him down. I'm not sure Pac will manage to do it, but if anyone is equipped to do it in the sport right now, it's him.

What a fight and what a fighter. According to most reports he was singing in a concert 4 hours after the fight!
The guy gets better and better.
With regards to Cotto walking straight in to the punches. It's widely known how much Roach studies his opponent for months before the fight. I'm sure Roach knew he would do that so built his plan around that. He'll study Mayweather (if they fight) and try find a chink in the armour to exploit. Doesn't matter how good Mayweather is, there must be something Roach can - and will IMO - find.
