Yet you'd be leaping to his defence if he still played for you. Apart from letting the ball bounce for Slater's last try he did little wrong. Not an international? Debatable, but let's not confuse international standard with world class. Like all of our team he was up against world class players yesterday.

I guess it depends what you mean by international standard.. I just feel someone who offers so little in attack is not international standard. I think Briscoe is an honest guy but simply isn't good enough.
