With regards to the fine for the late filing of accounts, apparently the reason behind the delay is due to waiting on HMRC to confirm tax position on investments by individuals and various image rights, without this information the club are unable to file the accounts.

What a cruel person! Do you go around telling 6-year olds that there is no Santa or teenage lads that there is no Lynx effect? These people have so little and you would deny them this one bit of solace - I hope you are proud of yourself!
Seriously now - are these issues that relate specifically to HKR? If not, why have other clubs been able to file? Sorry, but if I'm wondering it'll eventually occur to a troll...

It's far more likely that someone within HKR would tell someone a reason like this rather than a reason which would make Rovers look bad.
If that's correct, why haven't they looked for tax advice elsewhere?
This isn't the first time the late filing of accounts has been brought up, so why not come out and state that as the reason?

I understand at least four or five other SL clubs have yet to file accounts....
