The article in the MEN is just a space filler by Neal Kealing and is in my opinion a "no story" and to say that it was hidden away was a bit of an overstatement.
Anyone who has shown an interest in the stadium knows that it has been delayed for several reasons and as people have said before Peel Land(Red City) are now going to develop the stadium site on the clubs behalf.
There is an advertisement in the Advertiser today Page 48 under Public and Legal Notices, bottom left of page, connected with the ground remediation works and associated access arrangements which proves that things are moving in the right direction albeit slower than we all would have liked it to go.
There was a previous application a few weeks ago for the stadium itself and although I am not in the construction industry it seems to me that Peel Land(Red City) have everything on hand to deliver what we all want for the club.
We may have to stay at the Willows a little longer than we had expected to but so what, there is as much chance of us playing at Leigh as there is of Neil Barker getting a news scoop.
