Yes!! imo Rooney was shocking in the first half only slightly better than Giggs but improved in the second half. Fletcher, Anderson and Carrick bossed the midfield pretty much all game and dominated Deco and Essien, i didn't even notice Lampard for most of the game.
People keep saying we're missing Ronaldo and i'd tend to agree on the attacking front but there is no way on this planet he could have put in the type of disiplined performance in attack and defence that Valencia put in on sunday Cashly would have had free reign on that side if Ronaldo had still been there.
Again Obertan looked pretty handy when he came off the bench and i'd like to see a bit more of him in games instead of the 10 minute cameos of the last few weeks but i guess he's still getting back to full fitness.

A penalty was the correct decision - it was the only decision!
What a load of utter utter p!sh.
Imagine it is 0-0 in the last minute of the World Cup Final. Messi runs into the box, Ferdinand slides in but Messi* takes a pathetic swan dive without being touched. Penalty awarded. Scored. 1-0 Argentina.
Cheating Argie barsteward or simply avoiding injury?
We all know the answer to that and it simply shows your point to be more pathetic than it originally was.
* Messi was just an example. He is not a diver like plenty of the idiots that are tarnishing the Premiership at the moment.

Just heard it on Catalan tv. They had a minutes silence at the Camp Nou for him.
On 10 November 2009 Enke died in a train incident in Neustadt am Rübenberge.[12] German website Morgenpost Online have quoted a spokesperson from the Hannover police as saying: "Enke has thrown himself under a train at Neustadt am Rübenberge." The death is, however, unconfirmed as a suicide.
