So who gets to decide who lives and who dies?

Who is so perfect in their judgement and behaviour that they can make such a decision? Politicians maybe?

Stalin executed 20 million people and thought he was completely right to do so. Back then he was the one who got to decide.

No man has the right to take the life of another even when it is done in the name of the state. IMO.

Why should a child killer like say Ian Huntley have a right to life, just because some do gooder thinks it makes us as bad as them. We all know we are not killers but probably would kill if need be to protect our children.
