As I said, some people are confusing redress with compensation. I would want anyone to be out of pocket or suffer loss of earnings.

Thats £79.15 a week more than i get from the government due to apparently not paid enough NI in 2007/2008 so i get absolutely sweet fanny adams. so please don`t put in your post "a whopping" as it`s more than i`ve had since june.

Are you talking about Incapacity Benefit, rather than SSP? SSP is not linked to NI contributions.

I suspect that compensation may not be the issue. Assault charges may have a factor on his ability to play next season.
