I think the main factor about Haye will be his speed, whether Valuev can live with that for the duration of the fight, i dont know.

Or whether Haye can keep his 'speed' up for a full 12 rounds with Valuev mauling him and basically treating him like a ragdoll.

Hate to sound negative, but I can see Saturday's fight being very dull, with Valuev strangling any life out of it, simply because the ref will allow him to do so.

Split decision for Valuev, though I wouldn't mind a little dabble on a draw... 8)

How can I miss you, if you won't go away????

I'll be having some on Cotto at 2/1 to beat Pacman. You take Pacmans wins against De La Hoya (over the hill) and Hatton who had completely lost his focus, out and Cotto would be a big favourite in this for me. My only concern is Pacmans speed but I'm not sure he will be able to cope with the intensity Cotto will bring. Late stoppage for Cotto for mine.

Really, really can't pick the Haye/Valuev fight. Part of me is thinking that Haye can't win with him going over to Germany and their ridiculous "homer" points scoring (Valuev being in the adopted son role that the Klitschos enjoy) and that he could be knocked out at any time with his weakish chin. However, if he can box clever and steer clear of any big shots he could force a points win. If a 44 year old Holyfield can outbox Valuev then surely Haye can. Very difficult to call and I won't be betting except for a small interest in Valuev ending it in rounds 1 and 2.

Says a lot about the state of the British heavyweight division - Haye apart - when a fight between two decent pub sluggers gets this kind of billing.

As Moe said to Homer Simpson
"Careful, we don't want to get into a boxing match here"
I'd be saying something similar to Rogan.

Last time Rogan came out fainting and dipping and got well and truely outboxed, he then came out swinging and nearly put Sexton away. (IIRC).

Its not just the British HW division though. The HW division has gone from arguably its best era (the 90s-early 00s) to its worst period in its history. It says a lot when a 36 year old David Tua is only a couple of wins away from a title shot.

Anyway you've nont Mentioned Tyson Fury...

Indeed. Rogan would be a match for anyone in a war, however I think I could out box him.
