Last night was a really poor performance from the lads, we played really well at Harrogate on Saturday beating them 3-0, so we all had hoped to beat Warrington last night, sadly our problem is our consistency, neither team played well and neither will come close to promotion or relegation at the end of the season, the conditions didn't help and well done to Warrington you played just that little bit better then we did, for some reason our best players aren't getting games and a few players have been consistently poor but are still getting games, by the way your goalie was probably your man of the match last night.
So as things are on a low at the club, we welcome Halifax on Saturday, a fixture I have mixed feelings about, no doubt it will be great for Prescot financially, someone posted on our forum they bring 500, that would be great at £7 each
, money that will be good at the Cables, on the other hand they are the form team in the league, and will no doubt fancy their chances against us, and too be honest after last night I don't blame them, at the end of the game our manager went mad at the players and if that's worked we may make a game of it.
May the best team win, either way, look forward to seeing you at Hope Street on Saturday.
yeah i think everyone in our league looks forward to the visit of Halifax especially financially, it is true we do bring a fair few to away games. so will be good for you financially.
we are on good form in the league games that we actually get to play with all the postponements we have had for cup matches.
we will certainly be looking to preserve the unbeaten record, will be a tough game though i expect you to raise your game and make a real game of it.
i look forward to saturday, i have visited most of the grounds in our league from last year but will be making a first visit to your ground. so i will look forward to it.
may the best team win on saturday and later in the season when you visit the shay
