Smith,Mcguire and Briscoe all deserved to be left out and Fox deserves his chance too.
exicting half back pairing, but i fear a kiwi win is on the cards.
100% correct decision by Tony Smith to play Fox over the ineffectual Tom Briscoe for the multiple reasons I've already stated.
I think Bridge is a well rounded centre who has decent footwork.
The half-back pairing is exciting.
I too share concerns about Peacock in the second-row but I've got a feeling Peacock will actually start in the front-row and Morley will play right second-row insode Bridge as they have done for Wire this year I believe...

He'll get my support in an England shirt. Are we not allowed opinions now? Btw I have held this opinion on Fox even when he was at Wakey so it's not a Rovers thing.
I hope he and Bridge prove me wrong but imo neither are International class.

Personally I'd have played Smith and Hall on the wings and had Gleeson and Shenton in the centres. I know Gleeson is not in the squad and has been poor this season but imo he was still the best option imo.
Tom Briscoe is a good player for his age, very mature . I would have him at Rovers , he will be a top player for FC, however i do think the Aussie game was far too much for him, his inexperience showed, but i'm sure he will learn from this, him and Jack will do well with FC.

Did the omission of a little smiley face confuse you sweety pie?
But yes, you're correct, fool I am.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
