They could go second in the Premier League, two points behind the leaders and with a game in hand this weekend.

He must be the most hated man in liverpool right now.
Besides Pete Price of course.

Thought Liverpool had done it when Babel hit a beauty. All depends on how Lyon approach the Fiorentina game now, if that is a draw then it lets Liverpool back in.

He wasn't as bad as everyone says for us. He just wasn't good enough for week in, week out PL football. Didn't mean he didn't come out with occasional moment of brilliance.
He scored a cracker on debut in the Charity Shield too.
I recall thinking how he was going to score 30+ that season with his pace & movement.

Skybet were doing 33/1 on Rafa being sacked by tomorrow. That might well be shorter by now, but if anyone bets on it I think they're wasting their money tbh. We've never been one to spit the dummy out after a few bad results and call for the manager's head. With the whole situation with the Yanks I think we've got enough on our plate withourt changing manager as well. I agree with John Aldridge on SSN who said that Rafa doesn't become a bad manager overnight. Yes the injuries have been a problem but if the yanks had dipped into their pockets a bit more we might have more strength in depth for when we lose a few players. Every other top team seems to manage it. I never thought the loss of Xabi Alonso would be such a big one. Sometimes we've looked so clueless in midfield. Ok Lucas had a decent game last night but he's no Alonso. Neither is Macherano for that matter.
