The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

I'd love to see how many tries Briscoe would score if he had say, Brett Hodgson's attacking ability. I mean, Hodgson scored a massive 1 more try that Shaun last year despite making 2 more appearances...

I would assume that Brett Hodgson would score better in all departments last season;

Wow, stunningly naive, how many do you think he created either directly or indirectly?

Briscoe does offer an attacking threat through his support play, which is as good as anyone TBH. Where he falls down IMO is in converting defence to attack - bringing the ball out and acting as an additional pivot.
ATEOTD which style of FB is best depends on the balance of the side. Briscoe scored plenty of tries for us when we had some creative players and he could back up Horne when he was in form. Latterly we've needed a player who offers more due to deficiencies elsewhere.
I think Briscoe is currently the best England-qualified FB out there. Tansey has the potential to be as good or better (although in a different style) but still has to prove that he can deliver.
Hold on to me baby, his bony hands will do you no harm It said in the cards, we lost our souls to the Nameless One
