How odd that TS never selected Webb or Greenshields to play for, erm, England.

Tansey is a very ordinary full-back. Would take a half fit Briscoe over him in all honesty.

I think tansey is a better option for Hull due to the lack of creativity in the halfs (last season anyway). More of a creative player than briscoe

But not an out and out full-back.

Briscoe for me every day of the week over Tansey and the only player currently in SL who i would consider over Shaun is Clint Greenshields.

Brett Webb and Brett Hodgson are far better fullbacks than Briscoe who an the moment is the best British fullback, which is a sad state of affairs as far as backs for England are concerned.

Mathers looked pretty good for warrington at the end of the season, looked like he could be getting his Leeds form back.

Webbs ability is flattered by the team he plays in much like McGuire and Hodgson is over rated beyond belief, not a bad player but nowhere near as good as made out.
