I don't think so. Putting 2 and 2 together it makes sense as us and Wire take the biggest support down there and they've already played Wire in Barcelona.

Have you been to Beziers?

Catalans played Hull in Beziers mid-August.

The sad thing I think about Mason, SBW et al is that they could have been remembered as greats of the game but will now, largely, be forgotten.

I know they'll have fat bank balances to console themselves with, but they'd have been pretty well paid even if they'd stayed in League.

Look at SBW now - does anyone know where he is and what he's doing? Does he even know what he's doing? He's certainly not burning across the sky like the meteorite he was while in the NRL.

It's a sad waste of great talents that RL spent a lot of time and effort discovering and developing, and yet another price we pay for the 'equalising benefit' of the salary cap.

Your point is proved by the fact I don't really care

I agree with the point about the SC. I actually now hate it.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

I've nothing against the salary cap in theory but only if it works within the constraints of the other sports and activities competing for the same pool of players.

As the Guiness Premiership clubs are finding out no/very high salary cap in the Top 14 means the French clubs can offer so much more money, same with SL and the Guiness Prem.

Well, Catalan are playing one game there in 2010 and the word is that it will be against Wigan. They are 100% not playing a game in Spain.
