Hull FC play Wire the first game of 2008 so I give a breakdown post of why Hull FC had no chance of finishing in the play-offs. I was in the minority then yet I was eventually proved 100% correct. If I was as sad as Mrs B then I could be @rsed to dig it up for you.
And...
I think I was the only member of this forum (FC or Rovers) who thought FC would not finish in the play-offs before the season started yet I was proved 100% correct.
I've learned more in the last 4 years watching Rovers under Justin Morgan than the previous 20 watching under other coaches and feel closer to the game than I've ever been - hence why I've been so accurate in terms of my predictions above.
Infact, a mate of mine at work regularly asks me for betting tips and thinks nothing of shelling out £100 on the tips I give him - most of which prove to be right. Although Rovers have the SL Dream Team second-rowers, the secret of our success has been our back three: Briscoe / Fox / Colbon kick returns which have enabled us to do so well.
I've got nothing personal against Tom Briscoe and he wasn't "to blame" for the tries as such as it's been well documented about who was inside him, but he was merely a pedestrian without the athletic ability to have any effect on the game - time to play a winger who has the ability to affect a game.
your brilliant, honest.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

You mentioned two players not three and you never alluded to how Vella managed to get close. You were right in your use of thr word waltz, although I never used that word anyway, I used evaded. You were a third right!

Indeed. Before it gets any more daft, can I suggest a truce. As the team for Nwz has not been announced yet and it could be T.Briscoe, P.Fox or L.Smith on the wing, can I suggest that we all put the stupidity of the last two weeks or so behind us and support whoever is picked, irrespective of which club they play for.
Fox has been unlucky not to be given a chance against Aus/NwZ so far. Briscoe was unlucky that his debut was ruined by some inept defending inside him. Both are highly capable players, despite some of the idiocy posted on here.
Anyway, I'd just like to say, before it even happens that if T.Briscoe/P.Fox ever form a centre-wing partnership for England, that it wasn't Fox who overran the pass, but Briscoe who delayed it too long.
