To be fair, he has made 458 overall tackles, which is about 80% success and a lot for a centre. Compare that to, say, Lee Smith who has made 229 tackles and missed 43...

Was shocked by the number he has had to make. Do you think that means he is targetted by the opposition?

We've had doubts about the stats all season, the individual player ones seem OK but i think the team ones may be per week or averaged per game over the season, but 33 would seem high.

I'd be more surpirsed if teams weren't targetting Kris based on his age and experience.

After watching him week-in week-out, I can say I don't see Kris' defence or the number of missed tackles as a problem at all. His reading of play is getting better which has resulted on him grabbing a couple of breakaway tries this year.

Possibly the statisticians gave up counting after week 5.
