TBF both sides of the argument have validity. It is true that as far as prize money in concerned Rovers finished 6th, but imo the league doesn't lie especially now without the lop sided fixtures of recent years. I would say Rovers finished 4th in all honesty and therefore are a top 4 club.

As an aside and being as prize money is only available to those who finish in a play-off position would it be fair to say that everyone who finished outside the top 8 finished joint last??

To be perfectly honest you could ask Cam Smith which teams he was referring to and I wouldn't be surprised if he said 'St Helens, Leeds and errrmm.....well theres um...Wigan?' Such is the Aussies care for SL.

just checked on the engage super league website and yes, were still in 4th spot on the league table.
