Lost 22.4 to Dewsbury Moor. Only 12 lads again and a miserable display. Most of the team got in at 5.00 this morning and it showed.

Not looking forward to Oulton next weekend.

Lets hope weather for weekend is better than last Sun. I can see games starting to get called of now although our pitch always holds up well

From what I've been told,it was (the pitch) covered in dog poo. People nowadays are so inconsiderate letting their dogs crap everywhere and not cleaning it up.

The ref liked the sound of his own whistle as well,a bit stop start by all accounts.

Thats the problem with public fields isn't it. I thought the ref or someone had to check the pitch before a game for things like that? It wouldn't be hard to move and maybe help players feel a little better about throwing themselves about on the floor

Called off about an hour before kick off! Very annoying. Alot of food was wasted today and 20 of our lads had their time wasted.

Thats a bit tough on all concerned.

Wish they would have called the Cross game of at Toll bar talk about rolling over.

By called off i mean King Cross didn't show up for whatever reason. Just wish they'd have told us earlier as alot of plans were in place. Don't know the full story as to why they could't get a team though?

We had 12 or 13 lads lined up to play but on Sunday morning only 8 turned up. None of the missing lads would answer thrir phones and ultimately we had no choice but to call the game off.

Very frustrating and annoying for the lads (and parents) who did turn up. Some are talking of quitting the 18s and playing open age. Having a meeting on Wednesday to see if we are going to carry on.
