Anyone know if there's any friendlies lined up before the new season starts?

We are playing Leigh on the 27th December, dont know if home or away, but as we played at Leigh last time maybe at Willows.

Hopefully be the Lions 29th or New Years or the day after

What about Paul Highton's testimonial game ?
Would be nice if that was sorted for this pre season .

Think it is up to the player to sort out his testimonial game opposition then approach the club to arrange a date, possibly Paul hasnt or didnt do that & thats why its not happened. I only know this because my mates relation did his year before Paul & thats what he had to do. Think he may possibly out of his year now so cant see it happening.

I heard yesterday at the England game that we are playing Swinton. Does
anyone know of any truth in this?

Is it likely to be U21's or full team?
