Any rumours, gossip or speculation for us?
Clinton and Kaufusi (sp?) both sound decent, but I don't know much about the NRL. Don't think there is anybody suitable available at this end of the planet.

Haven't got a clue, I read the rumours, but have always held the belief in waiting until the club announces that someone has signed before celebrating. The club have indicated their interest in Joel Clinton, so i suppose we know he 'might' be coming, but its gone quiet.
I cannot see us 'not' signing anyone else, especially if we want to maintain our position and try to progress over the next few seasons.

Good ball handling prop, would make a good squad player, but not unless he has all of a sudden become Welsh.

Was he during 2005 would he not now be like Manu, Makka etc fed trained?
This is Poorhouse Lane. And this is Neil, the rovers supporter who leads an exciting double life. For when Neil sponsors RLFANS an amazing transformation occurs. Neil is Cabbageman. Ever alert for the call no injury too small! //www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Cabbage%20Man

I cannot understand the 'rules' on this, they are so vague, it takes a thread with 100's of posts on the interpretation, without success.

Released by us and now released by Celtic - I'd rather give a kid a shot. Might be 'fed-trained', but'd still look like we're going for a cheap antipodean option.
Thing is we aren't short of numbers at prop even now. Vella, Lovegrove, Wheeldon, Mills, Watts, Netherton and, at a push, Newton can play there. 7.
Our universal comparators have O'Meley, Moa, Cusack, Dowes, Lauaki and, at a push Radford. Assuming King is going to leave, that is just 6.
Tangata-Toa or similar would add depth, when what we want is quality and a bit of impact.

I wasn't advocating signing him, just responding to a sarcastic post from a Duller.

I'd be very surprised if we didnt sign Kyle Bibb. As from the other side of the world im not sure, but the Clinton rumour seems to be the strongest at the moment. I wouldn't be surprised if the signing we WILL make though, is a bolter that no one has mentioned, due to them been under contract.

Borrowed from the ins and outs thread on the VT
Wakefield Wildcats
2 props in, but 3 out at Wakefield. Would they be looking to offload another? We've got plenty so a swap deal might be possible - but the ones they are likely to want probably going to be the ones we'd prefer to keep.
