Those were, with all respect, sub-SL teams. This will be the big test - for S. Briscoe, Tomkins, Shenton etc too, not just T. Briscoe. We have to hope they all live up to the occasion.
Perhaps for once we can all agree that it would be good to see Briscoe win the match for the team red and white?!

If by some miracle we manage to beat the Aussies, I for one won't give a damn how we do it or who does the business.
Hold on to me baby, his bony hands will do you no harm It said in the cards, we lost our souls to the Nameless One
I think the main reason behind picking Briscoe is helping to halt Inglis with his contact in the tackle as he'll be defending that side of the pitch with Smith. Briscoe will have to up his work rate significantly though in terms of taking work off the forwards.
The position has been lost by Fox rather than won by Briscoe and I think this serves as a harsh reminder to Fox that he needs to stop having poor performances.
I think he'll get a crack against the Kiwis and lets hope he shows his best form which is why he made the dream team this year.

I do for Englands sake yes. If he hadnt have had a terrible last 6 weeks of the season he would have probably still been in the side before Briscoe. At the same time im more than happy with Briscoe's contribution.
I think your previous comment about him needing to do more work is a little bit harsh. His metres from scooting is a real strength of his, in the previous internationals ive seen him go in to try and do it and be pushed back out to the wing by people like scott moore. Briscoe is looking for the work imo but isnt being allowed to do it.

How strange, we have threads on each others forums all year and its normally ok but now things seem to be going against rovers i guess its something for you guys to moan about.
