It seems alot of teams are changing their quarterbacks now. Vince Young could be in at the Titans, Freeman in at Tampa, Smith in at the 49ers. Smith was really impressive in the second half against the Texans.

VY can't handle the pressure. He cracked and i certainly wouldn't want a guy who evidently can't handle the pressure leading my team on a game winning drive, let alone leading me into the play-offs in the future.
Freeman will get his shot, personally i like (and want at Green Bay) Josh Johnson. Tampa aren't doing anything this year so better to stick with Johnson IMO, who is also young see if he can get any trade value. Keep Freeman to learn the offence and then give him the reigns next year.
Smith. Well his previous 4 or 5 years have not given any indication he is good enough. Half a game shouldn't convince anybody.

In all fairness it has all to do with different offences and packages, he played in a spread offence at Utah for example but the a9ers are trying to use a good ground game and steady defence instead of opening the offence up, he has options in Gore, Crabtree and Davis so the signs are good. In relation to Josh Johnson hes been plainly awful so far, I know he was succesful at San Diego state but the pros is a different ballgame. Vince Young seems to do okay when leading his team to a winning record.

Yep, don't forget that most of Smith's previous playing time was in an absolutely awful 49ers side. It will be interesting to see if he is given the starting job for the rest of the season whether he can find some form under Singletary in the same sort of way that Vernon Davis has.

I think Vince Young may be given a chance simply because he is scheduled to make a lot of money next year and they need to know whether he has anything to offer them to warrant all the $$$ they would be paying him.
I dont see a future for him at any other team if the Titans get rid of him but Im probably wrong

Indeed, i'm not blaming Smith. He can only do what he is put there to do at college level. He isn't going to turn down millions to go first overall. He just didn't fit. Like Tim Tebow. Tebow will go top 10 guaranteed, but he'll be a terrible QB if he is asked to play there IMO. His accuracy is poor and he never plays under centre.
I wouldn't say Johnson has been terrible. He's show flashes that he could be a very good dual threat player. Put him in a WCO with short passes and i think he'd succed.

VY will be fine.
Science flies people to the moon. Religion flies people into buildings.
Johnson has been awfully poor, worse than Byron in fact. His arm is so slow and I think now is the time to get Freeman ready for next year. Yes, he'll make some mistakes but this kid has talent and needs this half season for next year.
