Good luck to Mal, hope its a success for him and the club, least with him now Mcrae has a "Assistant" coach which he hasnt had.
Hasnt Alker had some success coaching Amateur sides in the past? so he must have some experience in that department.

When anyone talks about Alker they say they are inspired by his performance and efforts on the field/in training it will be interesting to see if he can inspire off the field in the same way.

Maybe why Wilshere has decided to pack in.

I think this is great news, if Mal can bring the determination and drive to the job, that he's always put into his play, then he can only take us forward. Plus the fact that he's Salford through and through.

Id hope if Mcrae wasnt to stay on we'd get a more experience coach to take the rains, im sure we could groom alker for 5 years or so then we'll see
