Unbelievable! We go on a 7 game win streak, within touching distance of a franchise record 8 straight games after playing some fantastic hockey, and then go and get dicked 7-3 by the Sharks.

Well at least you're not waiting for a first win

Pens are on fire at the moment, nobody is close to them in terms of scoring. Loving all the ice hockey action at the minute, even so early on in the season.

Buffalo Sabres traded forward Daniel Paille to the Boston Bruins on Tuesday in exchange for Boston's third-round selection in the 2010 Entry Draft and a conditional fourth-round selection in 2010

Over 2 weeks into the season now and the leafs are still to win a game, the lastest dissapointment coming last night in a 3-1 loss to the canucks.
I had big hopes for a win last night as the leafs had had a weeks rest, but after a promising start, the same dumb plays reared their ugly head. I have so far only watched the 1st period, but imo the leafs started by far the brighter side and created some good scoring oppertunites. But daft penalties saw the leafs try to kill off 12 mins on the PK in the 1st, and when you are only killing off 60% and your goalies have the worst save percentage in the league, it was no surprise that the conceeded 2 PP goals.
Ron Wilson must be tearing his hair out at all the silly penalties they are giving away. The leafs are in a massive hole, and at the moment I cannot see where the first win is coming from.

Leafs win, leafs win oh yeah, the leafs win at long last. A Hagman hatrick helped the leafs to an impressive 6-3 win in Anahiem.
5 powerplay goals for the leafs on the night.
