An absolutely shockingly inept performance from Marriner and the 2 linesmen, how Lucas didnt get booked and Berbatov got booked for one challenge (after he'd been fouled himself!!) is beyond belief...Carragher should have walked without a shadow of a doubt as a) he stopped a clear goal scoring opportunity and b) he should have been booked for hauling Rooney down earlier in the half...no qualms about the Vidic sending-off though.
However, the ref was only as inept as Nited were so no complaints on that score - we deserved f++k all and got f++k all...proved once again that you cannot start Giggs and Scholes in midfield in a big away game any more unless Fletcher and/or Anderson are playing...poor decision from Fergal for me.
I wonder if there'll be an inquest into the 2nd goal coming in the 6th minute of 5 minutes of injury time too??
