The fact is you've signed a player deemed not good enough to be part of the FC squad, even for 18k.
Pre season is a month away and you've signed no one that can take you forward and you're risking being over taken by clubs that have seriously improved, that includes FC.
If he signs then i believe the original contract offer was around 20k which for a player with his experiance would make him a value for money squad member.
Signing Scott Wheeldon who was deemed not good enough by Agar worked out okay.
As for improvement Hull need to perform on the field 1st before you can claim they have caught other teams up.
A few defeats early doors next season and the pressure will be on at the KC.
