Listen pal, FC are poop and have no chance what-so-ever of over taking us next year - even if we signed no-one else (which we will).

We could have signed old has-beens like Fitzgibbon but chose to pass because if we are to improve on last years' position then we need quality and the current market dictates that quality players are often under contract which takes time to negotiate with the contracted player's club.

Anyway, besides Fitzhenry, all of the players who contributed in our last 5 match winning run are still at the club yet we signed Cook, Ratu & Hodgson and plan to sign at least another 2 top-class players so FC fans getting giddy proves how stupid they are.

Can't really see what's in a deal like this for Horne, he'd be better off going to Celtic.

Sign for Rovers, on less money as a player who's job will be keeping Mills company or go to Celtic on probably more money and whilst you're getting towards the back end of your career perhaps actually play a bit of Rugby.

FWIW i thought Graeme was our best back early in the season until the injury he picked up. Statistically he made good metres and has good footwork which means he also is fairly good on tackle busts. Good pair of hands on him too. I know it's unpopular but i think he's a really good squad player and will be a good signing for Rovers. (pains me to say it too)

Me too. that would be an awful signing. Horne I could live with, he is 24 and isn't injury riddled and covers a few positions at a reasonable level. For the right money his signing makes sense, its a shame he wasn't coming from Bradford or Wigan, then no-one would be even commenting on it.
