Without taking this thread very seriously, our quota situation is unclear.

Fitzhenry, Webster, Newton, Galea, and Dobson might have been our 5 last season. However Crossman and Dobson overlapped, so 1 of those 6 may not be quota. If the 1 who isn't, isn't Crossman or Fitzhenry, it must be one of JW, CN, BG or MD - leaving us with just 3 quota players and possibly 2 spaces.

So on to the overseas trained. We can have six. The 3 quota players count. Assuming Dobson is one of them (ie isn't the mystery non-quota antipodean), that leaves 3 spaces - as all our other overseas players were here before Feb 2008. So, if that is right, and it is a big if, then we could, in theory sign two quota players and a Kolpak.

I wouldnt know who was available mate. I was just wondering what Rovers fans expectations would be. Obviously we have King, Thacks and Cordoba looking for new clubs. Im pretty sure most Rovers fans would be disappointed with any of those 3.

Overseas, for any announcement to be put back til after the 4 nations could be positive for Rovers fans if it means its a first choice international player. On the flip side it might just be that no ones available.
