Is this managment by speadsheet? On the otherhand, does this suggest that the coach maybe allowed to get on with his job by a manager who accepts his lack of technical skills?
So you assume that is all the thought and consideration IL put into this based based on a paragraph in the press release?
Given the way the deal is structured it seems to me a great deal of thought has been put into this deal.
It is ideal IMO and IL should be complimented on putting together a deal that doesn't tie us to holding onto a player if things don't work out but gives us the breathing space to get the likely replacements up to speed and decide which ones are going to get his shirt eventually.
How on earth you can even consider he knows nothing of the man is beyond me.
I don't always agree with how IL goes about things but he seems to have got this one bang on. I fail to see the down side.
