Ah right, from what gml said he's been playing on the wing now.

Finished the season playing in the centres in the reserves. The fast improving Jack Latus finished the season at full back.
Slightly off topic but i expect both Jack and Sam Latus to have roles in the first team squad next season.

seemed to me james haynes was a regular at full back in the reserves until that game on the wing against the quins, from then on he never got near the no1 shirt and drifted out into the threequarters. The kid does look a good fullback prospect but looks like he needs to do a lot of growing before he can get near the first team squad for me.

I think the reason he was given time on the wing was to see if he could adapt to it and thus making him more versatile rather then just an out and out Full Back.

The reason Haynes was moved to the centres was to enable Jack Latus to get some game time at full back.

You believe his agent and i will believe the bloke who told me. Cant say any fairer than that.

fair enough, but sometimes i wish we would just persist with young players in their preferred and sometimes best positions, let them learn their trade first before trying to turn them into a jack of all trades. Certainly nobody would try converting shaun briscoe into anything other than the position he plays.
