They do it so they are able to own the name for marketing and so the wrestler can keep their previous name if they need it again. Because his actual name is Steven Haworth.
Booker T not renewed The word at Sunday's TNA Bound For Glory PPV was that TNA would not be renewing Booker T's contract when it expires in November. There was said to be talk that TNA President Dixie Carter would have a change of heart if Booker said the right things, but every indication right now is that he sealed his fate when he refused to job to Matt Morgan at the last set of iMPACT! TV tapings.
Creative booked the stretcher angle at the PPV to get him out of the match. We're told there was lots of eye rolling backstage over the way he acted as he was being stretchered out. One TNA source even added, "He's been such an asshole that most people were just happy to see him go."
The belief is that WWE has interest in bringing Booker back to the company once he is contractually available.

Ah right, cheers. Still think it's a mistake sometimes though, e.g. changing a perfectly good name like Monty Brown to the stupid Marcus Cor Von.
What do TNA see in Matt Morgan though?! I just don't get it.
"The Mail understands..." NOTHING!

They are on sky.
On Bravo currently, also going to be shown on Virgin in the near future.
Ultimate X, King of the Mountain & Lethal Lockdown are 3 of my favourite match types. Lots of insane stuff goes off in them, and the X Division in particular has had some ridiculous stuff go off before.
They also do ECW style hardcore matches, Daffney in the tacks being a great example, and their Womens division is possibly stronger IMO, the tag division definitely is.

Just turned it on Bravo now, has the Ultimate X match been on yet?
