Tyer is more than a decent kicker and he has seemingly played pretty much his entire career with Matty Smith.. the two seem to follow each other around.
They have a good understanding and in their loan spells at Widnes Ste Tyer was often set-up for his tries by Matty Smith as the two seem to read each other's game well. At Celtic I think Smith was injured for a long period.
On his own admittedly Tyer is average but with his mate playing at SH I think you've made a shrewd move there.
We should be looking at making small steps. The first step should be to emulate Wire, and then look to progress to be an upper mid-table club, and then hopefully we can make that big step up to being a big club.
