In which case you are incorrect. (ive not seen him in tavern for over a year to be fair to him)
Im coming across here like ive got a grudge against NH, i really havent. For what its worth i respect the guy for becoming a succesful local businessman, i'm pretty sure i could stand and have a beer with the guy and have a decent conversation, from what you say i'm sure he's decent to his mates etc.
However, i dont appreciate him standing up on the stool on the Thursday in tavern before Cookie played his last game on the friday spouting his mouth off that tomorrow night was going to be Cookie last game cos he was leaving to join rovers. Un professional. Where's my proof? I know what i saw, there were about a dozen other people in there too that saw it that would vouch for it. Ask NH to deny that his behaviour that night was a little inappropriate!

Really? I never knew. I just joined this forum 13 months prior to our promotion just in case we managed it.
I do remember the NL days very well, and the condescending way which Hull fans came on here whenever we had a decent win. Comments such as "big deal, you beat Batley", "its only the Thomas the Tank Engine Cup" etc. Those were happy days for you lot as we were the underclass in your eyes, particularly the FC fans who don't recall pre-SL rugby themsleves.
October 2006 saw the entire landscape change. September 2007 was your worst nightmare (or so you thought at the time, it keeps getting worse). All this needs to be somebody's fault, so in your eyes in Hudges.

Think Dave T has been far more specific than you, TBF.

On topic, as ive said twice now this new Director can only be a good thing.
Agreed - he's been there, done it and followed the club with many different era's and up's/downs. Seems like the type of guy who will listen to the fans (esp with being one himself) but also must clearly have a very good business brain to have built up his company to the level he has.
Welcome aboard mate.

He hasnt offended me at all but as Daves post suggests I have seen him behave in a totally unprofessional manner not expected from a club CEO. His banter wasnt aimed at us but at a barman in Tavern who is a Hull FC fan.
As my rovers supporting mate said at the time NH's behaviour was 'totally out of order'.
Like has been said NH has done a hell of a lot good for Hull KR and I applaud the turnaround in the clubs on field performance under his tenure it really has lifed the great game in this city.

without doubt NH has been the catalyst in Rovers recent success.......i cant coment on what Dave has said as i wasn't there.......but to be fair NH gets a lot of stick from Hull fans who also can't have been there......if thats the only reason?

Like I say it is not a personal crusade against the guy at all!
However when rovers posters suggest this and that I think it only fair to respond. NH does get stick from fans who werent there absolutely just as James Rule gets called all sorts of names from Rovers fans who have never even met the guy I suppose it comes with the territory. Dont agree with most of the bile and hatred thrown around allthough a bit of banter never hurt anyone!
However that Thursday night did Tavern tarnished my opinion of him.
