A 3 year deal then he only plays 40 games would be a nightmare for any club.
Super League clubs have, I suspect, realised that they are Rugby Clubs not Australian Offshore Pension Providers.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Has Carmont been announced as signing a new deal, because the rumours from where I live are that Saints have offered more than Wigan and he has asked for a week to think it over.

Hope this is not true
I'd be very surprised if Saints offered Carmont a deal. They already have seven players over the age of 30 in their probable starting 17 next year.
From what I have heard Wigan have offered Carmont a one year deal, but he wants two which Celtic may offer.
Good luck to George if he goes he has done a great job for Wigan in his time here.

Heartily second that, whatever George decides good luck to the guy he's been great for us, but I feel a 1 year deal is the best we can offer him.
